We've completed Home Studies for a multitude of Louisiana couples. Here's what a few of them thought about the experience: The Curries
of Louisiana Jim - We
now laugh about being nervous before the home study. Mary was very comfortable
to talk with and the discussion actually helped us recognize a couple
of simple things that we hadn't thought about up to that point.
The process of adopting a child to complete our family seemed rather intimidating and intrusive. Mary immediately put to rest any notions we had about the dreaded home study. Her demeanor and personality made it easy for us to open up our lives to her inspection. She puts you at ease at once, and makes you feel as if you have known her forever. We adopted domestically and Mary guided us through the paperwork. When notice came of our daughter's birth, Mary followed up the interstate documentation so that we could bring our baby home across state lines. Mary made it clear from the beginning that she was in our corner. Her constant encouragement and guidance made the adoption of our now 8-month old daughter a reality. The Del

She is a true professional who takes a sincere interest in your family. She definitely made one of the most important steps in our adoption process an enjoyable experience. Years after our adoption, we are proud to still call Mary a friend. Cathy &

February 3, 2001 we had the pleasure of meeting with Mary Marrs as we
began the process of our home study. This was a particularly hard time
for us as we were told on February 2, 2001 that a domestic adoption we
were pursuing fell apart. Mary was very sympathetic, understanding and
encouraged us to not give up the hope in becoming parents.
